The Spatial Co — a quiet, project-first site for an interior studio
An interior studio's work should be the loudest thing on the page. Everything else was designed to get out of the way.

The challenge
Interior studios lose enquiries to sites that bury the work under sliders, stock copy and heavy templates. The Spatial Co needed a site where a prospective client could see three projects properly within ten seconds of landing, on a phone, and then reach the studio in one tap.
Our approach
We built a project-first structure: full-bleed imagery, minimal chrome, restrained type, and a persistent contact action. Projects are laid out as scrollable sets rather than carousels so nothing hides behind a click. Pages were built lean so large photography loads quickly, and every project page ends with a direct enquiry route rather than a generic form.
The design decisions
Layout
Large imagery with generous whitespace; navigation reduced to what a client actually needs.
Typography
One quiet typeface, tight tracking on headings, comfortable body measure.
Structure
Projects as scrollable sets — no carousels, nothing hidden behind interaction.
Conversion
Persistent enquiry action on every page, direct to the studio.
Delivered
What went out the door
- Home and project index
- Individual project pages
- Studio / about page
- Mobile-first responsive build
- SEO metadata and structured data
Outcome
A site the studio can update without a developer, that loads fast on mobile data, and that puts the portfolio — not the interface — in front of the client.
